  • Also known as "Big Bill's Blues" (but not to be confused with "Big Bill's Guitar Blues"), this song was the B-side of "House Rent Stomp," the first song Broonzy ever recorded. According to his biographer Bob Riesman, Broonzy was listed as William Lee Broomsley and the composer of both songs. They were recorded in Chicago in 1925 but were apparently not cut until 1927. >>>
