  • After a four-year hiatus, English pop singer Cher Lloyd slowly started releasing singles from her forthcoming third album, beginning with "None Of My Business" in 2018 and "M.I.A." in 2019. In April 2020, she dropped "Lost," a sleek kiss-off number to a meddling ex-boyfriend. "'You think I'd be lost without you, but I've got lots without you' says it all," she explained. "Everyone has found themselves in the same shoes - having the strength to move on and be bold enough to say that you're doing great without that person. Every time I sing this song I feel empowered."
  • Cher wrote this with a team of songwriters that included Raphaella, a British singer/songwriter/producer whose credits include "One Night" by MK & Sonny Fodera and "Last Time" by Rudimental. In a 2020 Songfacts interview, Raphaella said she pulled inspiration from one of her own toxic relationships: "Inspired by one of my crazy exes, my favorite line is, 'Yeah you've got a God complex, now I'm thanking God you're an ex.'"
  • Directed by Raja Virdi, the one-take music video meets Cher in the boudoir, wearing a sequined corset and slinking on a bed of satin sheets. She said of the clip: "This was a challenge and really nerve-racking, but so much fun - I couldn't hide behind any cuts! I've never done anything like this for a video before and I'm so happy with the result!"
