Songfacts®:

  • This heartfelt song tells the story of a lost love. Brown told MTV the track leaves his sensitive side exposed. "It's more live," he said. "It's one of those incredible records that have more feeling and soul. And you get a chance to hear my vocal ability on it."
  • The song was written and produced by R&B newcomer Timothy Bloom. His previous credits include the Alicia Keys song "Lets Go Back," which featured on the 2004 romantic comedy The Seat Filler and backing vocals on the Usher track "Papers."
