Songfacts®:

  • The opening track of Chris Brown's Before The Party mixtape, this notably features his ex, Rihanna, alongside Kelly Rowland and Wiz Khalifa. The track was originally leaked back in February 2014, but fans were surprised when it wasn't included on the track list for Breezy's X album three months later.
  • Before The Party was released six years after Brown's infamous violent attack on Rihanna. The Bajan songstress opened up to Vanity Fare in October 2015 about her current relationship with Chris Brown, saying "I don't hate him. I will care about him until the day I die. We're not friends, but it's not like we're enemies. We don't have much of a relationship now."
  • Previous collaborations between Brown and Rihanna include her 2012 track "Nobody's Business" and remixes of the Bajan star's "Birthday Cake" and Breezy's "Turn Up The Music."
