Songfacts®:

  • This rock-infused country-blues number finds Chris Stapleton trying to keep a relationship from fading away. Should his lover ever start feeling their time together has run its course, he asks her not to let him be the last one to know.
  • Stapleton debuted the song live at the ACM Awards on April 2, 2017.
  • Chris Stapleton penned the song with Mike Henderson. The pair's songwriting partnership dates back to the late 2000s, when they were both members of the bluegrass group The SteelDrivers. Stapleton and Henderson's other collaborations include "Broken Halos" and "Midnight Train to Memphis."
  • The singer is turned into a Lego figure in the song's music video. We see Stapleton slaying dragons and battling ninjas, all the while performing a concert. The country star's wife, Morgane, his band, and actor Chris Pratt are all also cast into the animated Lego figurines.
