• For the music video, Aguilera reunited with David LaChapelle, the famous celebrity photographer who shocked critics with his explicit promo for "Dirrty," which followed the scantily-clad pop star's exploits in a seedy nightclub. This time, Aguilera and her pals, including Lil' Kim, battle sexist creeps on the streets of Manhattan's Lower East Side on a hot summer day in 1984. An altercation between Aguilera and a guy who grabs her butt attracts the other men and women in the neighborhood, and it turns into an all-out battle of the sexes with hip-hop dance skills as their weapons.
  
  "It's a real female empowerment song, so the girls are getting theirs," the director told MTV News. "Men objectify women all the time and it's no big deal, so this time the girl's doing it."
  
  LaChapelle, who called the video his ode to the '80s, recreated a version of New York City that no longer exists, "when [Ed] Koch was mayor, the garbage trucks sometimes didn't show, there were blackouts and s--t, and everybody was on the street."
