• Anonymous from Coleman., GaI was a freshman in high school when Stormy came out. I was from Indiana, and no stranger to storms. Always liked Dennis Yost's vocals. My understanding is that he died from complications due to a stairway fall. Tragic. But he made his mark. People are unaware of the tremendous talent that came out of Jax. I lived there and went to several venues to hear music there. Never disappointed. RIP DENNIS HOST.

• Rick from Herndon, VaI think it is kind of funny that The Classics IV had so many one word hits: Traces, Stormy, Spooky, Sunny. The latter three seemed to be about different ways of describing a woman, and it is clear they had found a working formula. Members of this band formed the Atlanta Rhythm Section and Lynyrd Skynyd. Very influential group of musicians.
• Stormy from Kokomo, InI always felt like this was my song as I was a senior at Kokomo High School when it was released in 1968 and my name is really Stormy! The Classics IV has always been a favorite group of mine!

I like it better than "Spooky". They are both great. But "Stormy" is my favorite. I love the guitar and the whole mood of the song. Plus Dennis Yost had alot of soul in his voice. The Atlanta Rhythm Section ("So Into You",etc.) from the middle 70's. They were formed from members of The Classics IV and another local Atlanta,GA group. They did a cover version of "Spooky". Great stuff from a time gone by.

• Michael from Chicago, IlA great second cut from Classics IV, this got some 'crossover' play in Chicago, like The Rascals (Groovin', People Got to be Free) and Redbone (Come And Get Your Love) on both the rock and r&b stations. Just about every cat who had a 'moody' girlfriend knows what it's all about!
