Songfacts®:

  • CNCO was formed on the finale of the La Banda televised singing competition series on December 13, 2015. The band comprises the five winners - Christopher Velez, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimentel, Erick Colon and Zabdiel de Jesús.
  • This was released on October 7, 2016 as the third single from CNCO's debut studio album, Primera Cita. The song was written by Eric Perez, Jadan Andino, Jorge Class and Luis Angel O'Neill.
  • The title translates into English as "Slow Reggaeton (Dance)." A translation of the Spanish chorus reads:

I looked and I liked it,
I stuck to it and invited her "let's Dance?" Eh
The night is for slow reggaeton,
For those who don't dance long.
I looked and I liked it,
I stuck to it and invited her "Let's Dance?" Eh
The night is for slow reggeaton,
For those who don't dance long
  • The song was a huge hit in Spanish speaking countries reaching the Top 5 on singles charts throughout Latin America.
  • A revamped version titled "Reggaetón Lento (Remix)" with additional English vocals from British girl group Little Mix was released on August 18, 2017.
