Songfacts®:

  • This song from the Christian group Daniel Amos has a Goth sound. When we asked the group's lead singer/guitarist Terry Taylor about it, he replied: "This is a very personal song. The idea of refuge - a place of peace and tranquility in the midst of circumstantial tumult - is a comforting reality. I thought the best way to express this would be from the point of view of God himself - a kind of first person admonition that the peace that passes understanding can only be found in the arms of the Prince of Peace."
