Songfacts®:

  • This psychedelic soul ballad is a collaboration with Erykah Badu. Lyrically, the love song is an extended metaphor using about a sexual "WiFi" connection.

    Boy, I got WiFi
And my service is nice at that
And it comes at no price at that

Badu has form for singing about technology in sexual innuendoes. She recorded a whole mixtape based around Drake's "Hotline Bling" telephone concept titled But You Cain't Use My Phone.
  • D.R.A.M. spoke about the collaboration with Badu in a GQ interview, saying, "She's the queen. It's just a nice introduction to the combination of what D.R.A.M. and Erykah Badu sounds like. She's cool, the whole process was just smooth. No pulling of teeth. She's one of a kind."
