Songfacts®:

  • This is the first single from Example's fourth album. He described the track to BBC's, Newsbeat as a "huge guitar stadium dance rock song," billing it as "very emotional, very epic." The release, which also features remixes from Roska, TC, Burns, Foamo and Hardwell received its UK radio debut on July 30, 2012.
  • Serbian-Australian DJ and record producer Dragan "Dirty South" Roganović manned the boards. He previously worked with Example on the Playing In The Shadows track "Anything." Dirty South's resume also includes the remixing of hits by David Guetta, U2, Pussycat Dolls, Nero and Mark Ronson.
  • Example wrote the song with Snow Patrol's touring guitarist Johnny McDaid.
  • Graham Coxon plays guitar on this song. Example met the Blur guitarist at a War Child event and he grabbed the chance to get involved with one of his heroes. He told The Sun: "It was funny, I think Graham only realised who I was because his son asked for a picture. If you don' t ask you don't get, so I said I' d love to work with him. He said he was game and invited me over to his house. The track we've produced is something to be proud of."
