Songfacts®:

  • Twigs co-wrote and co-produced this song with Boots, who worked on Beyoncé's 2013 self-titled album. It previously featured in the singer's Google Glass advert, which saw the singer working through spectacular choreography alongside a team of dancers.
  • Having met Boots six months previously, Twigs booked a one-way ticket to New York and left her home city of London. She went straight from the airport to Boots' studio and started working on music with the producer.

Twigs told Complex magazine this song was inspired by staying out until 4 a.m. with her friends in the vogue scene and "just living New York."
