Songfacts®:

  • The first single from George Strait's 28th studio album, the singer penned the tune with his pal, Dean Dillon ("The Chair" "The Breath You Take"), and his son, Bubba Strait ("Living for the Night," "Here For A Good Time").
  • George Strait said that this laid-back song is just about being happy with what you've got. "It says a lot. I mean, all that stuff is all just stuff, and then you die," he laughed. "All that other stuff don't mean a lot…You just can't get too wrapped up in all your things, because it's all just dust like the song says, and you can't get enough, you know, so just be happy with what you have."
