Songfacts®:

  • This is the first track to be released from Jax Jones and Martin Solveig's collaboration, Europa. According to the press release the Anglo-French pair describe their sound as "club-focused pop music and pop-focused club music."
  • The song features vocals from American singer Madison Beer. The Jericho, New York native started her career by covering songs and posting them to her YouTube channel in 2012. They gained the attention of Justin Bieber, who personally recruited Beer to his record label Island Records. Since then the songstress has recorded a succession of pop hits including "Home With You" and "'Hurts Like Hell."
  • Lyrically, the thumping heartbreaker finds Beer lamenting a lover who walked out on her.

If I close my eyes, all I see
Is you standing there in front of me
    You're on my mind constantly
Now I can't get no sleep

Beer had adored her ex. Now that he's done the dirty on her, she can't get the guy out of her mind to the extent she's being kept awake all night thinking about him.
