  • Joe and Jake are former PE teacher Joe Woolford and ex garden center worker Jake Shakeshaft. They first met while competing separately in BBC talent show The Voice. Joe was one of Rita Ora's finalists while Jake was picked by will.i.am, only to be eliminated in the battle rounds. After the show ended, they formed the duo.
  • Joe and Jake won the right to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden after they won BBC 4's live Eurovision: You Decide show on February 26, 2016. This uptempo, piano-driven tune "about unity and love" was their winning song.
  • The song failed to impress Eurovision voters and viewers finishing third from bottom of the leader board with a total of 62 points.
