Songfacts®:

  • Here, Juice WRLD raps about finding love with his girlfriend, Ally Lotti. The track finds the rapper at his most vulnerable as he admits, "My mistakes prolly wipe all the rights I've done." Juice is praying to God that, "He makes me a better man," as he doesn't want to destroy the relationship.
  • EDM producer Marshmello supplied the beat. The song is the first collaboration between Juice WRLD and the marshmallow-headed knob twiddler. The American producer recalled in an Instagram post how Juice would take a break to do wheelies on his dirt bike, "then come back and finish a whole song in one take."
  • The song dates back to late 2018, a couple of months after Juice and Ally first started dating. When the rapper first previewed the cut via Twitter on November 30, 2018, the video was captioned "Off my chest," misleading people into thinking that was the song title.
