  • This uptempo, feel-good country-rocker came from a writing session between LoCash's Chris Lucas and Preston Brust plus Chris Janson and Danny Myrick. The same foursome also wrote Tim McGraw's "Truck Yeah."
  • Brust told The Boot that the song was fueled by a desire to battle all of the negativity they were seeing in the world around them, so they penned, "a feel-good song that makes you love your life and makes you appreciate the little things."

    He added; "We're not trying to change the world, and it's not rocket science, and it's not a real deep song; it's just something that makes you feel good. When Chris and I took it out on the road, and we started performing it. The very first time we played it, everybody's hands [were] up in the air, everybody."
  • Co-writer Chris Janson admitted to reporters that he never imagined this would be a hit. "I bet against it, off the bat," he said "They were an independent [act], like I was, and it's scary when you don't have a record deal. It just is."

    "Danny Myrick and I took a chance and just said, 'Okay, whatever. We love you guys, so have at it,' and they did it," Janson added. "It's pretty unbelievable."
