Songfacts®:

  • "No Honestly" was the theme song Lynsey wrote and performed for a short-lived British situation comedy that was screened in 1974. It featured John Alderton and Pauline Collins as a married couple, (the two were actually husband and wife off-screen). Lynsey's composition was and remains more endearing than the TV series; it was released on the Jet label backed by "Central Park Arrest."
  • The song also earned de Paul a second Ivor Novello Award, the first woman to be so honored; this time for The Best Theme From A Radio Or TV Production. >>
