Songfacts®:

  • Better known as the writer of songs for the likes of Shontelle ("Impossible"), Jess Glynne ("Hold My Hand") and Clean Bandit ("Rockabye"), Norwegian singer/songwriter Ina Wroldsen displays her own voice as the featured singer on this track. Wroldsen had sung on one occasion before this on a hit single – back in 2015 she supplied uncredited vocals for Calvim Harris' collaboration with Disciples, "How Deep Is Your Love."
  • Solveig told Billboard magazine that he is particular who he chooses to sing vocals on his tunes. "She really has a very specific emotion in her voice that is very unique," he said of Wroldsen.

"I'm not going to mention anyone," Solveig added, "but I had opportunities to record with some guys who are very big names, and I just can't do it. I just don't feel it. To collaborate on production with somebody coming from a very different environment is totally possible. But for vocals, it's gotta be a yes or no."
  • Solveig and Wroldsen also wrote the track between them, spending three days together in Oslo working on the tune.
