Songfacts®:

  • On February 21, 2020, Monsta X dropped All About Luv, becoming the first K-pop group ever to release an all English-language album. This is the third single released from the set.
  • American pop rock trio Before You Exit, who comprise brothers Connor, Riley, and Toby McDonough, wrote the song with Jeff Sojka and Josh Zegan. Connor McDonough also produced the track.
  • Monsta X's Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M immediately latched onto the song's message of unity, being connected to someone and not being alone. They connected the track to their Monbebe (what Monsta X fans call themselves); the six boy band members know the love they have for their fans is reciprocated. They told Billboard:

"We really wanted to emphasize the harmony of our voices in this song, as we intended to dedicate this song to Monbebe. Being someone's someone means a lot to both parties, and we wanted to be Monbebe's someone."
