Songfacts®:

  • Rahab is a Biblical character who may or may not have been a harlot; this song leaves no room for doubt. Written by J. Neil Schulman who also wrote the script, it is performed in the 2008 comedy thriller Lady Magdalene's by Nichelle Nichols as brothel keeper Maggie with a little help from her own harlot chorus. The song includes a bar or two of "Joshua Fought The Battle Of Jericho" in the same fashion as "Mad Dogs And Englishmen" and "Rule, Britannia!" >>>
