Songfacts®:

  • There's something wrong with me
For thinking somethings right with you

In this song, lead singer Otep Shamaya comes to terms with a broken relationship - one that was especially difficult to break off because the memories were so beautiful. In our interview with Otep, she said: "'In Cold Blood' is a very personal and private song that I was terrified to share because it is about losing someone you love, and admitting that is kind of hard - especially for me."
  • Otep got a great reaction to this song, as many fans let her know how much they could relate to it and shared their stories as well. She says fans connected to it on a personal level in the same way they did on the 2002 debut Otep album, Sevas Tra.
