"That song is not about men," Shamaya explained to Indiana's South Bend Tribune. "It's really about abusers, rapists, vile beings that perpetrate violence against women." Otep Shamaya listed the important men in her life, like her best friend, her bandmates and her brothers, to prove she doesn't hate men.
