He explained: "It's literally something that happened to me - the 14 kids; that I cried; my dad telling my second wife the story, and the same story a couple of years later. There's not a lie in it. It seems funny now, but the day was tough when I was a kid. I sure as hell remember it, so I wrote about it. I'd do anything for a song, and I don't mind telling the most embarrassing things I can think of."
