Songfacts®:

  • This song finds Ross apologizing for a relationship gone sour. He is joined by Chris Brown, whose verses predominantly concern regret for the R&B star's behavior during his past relationships with Karrueche Tran and Rihanna. "One of the most honest records I've done in a while," Breezy messaged. "I appreciate Ross for allowing me to be on a record and speak from the heart."
  • The TAJ-directed visual finds Ross caught up in a love triangle. The rapper is forced to make a decision on who he wants to stay faithful to when his girl, played by Ross' fiancée, model Lira Mercer (a.k.a. Lira Galore), finds a pair of panties in the apartment that aren't hers.
  • Rick Ross made the headlines several times in 2015 with various incidents, including his engagement to Lira Galore and an alleged assault and kidnapping incident which resulted in a period of house arrest. The result was some of his most personal ever rhymes for Black Market, such as the ones for this song.

Ross told Time: "When we got in the studio, it was such a powerful record. I think it meant a lot for all of us. You know Chris [Brown], going through his personal thing, it's so public. His pain, he put it in his words and they became such passionate words. Myself, the things I've been faced with over the last few months - you know the type of strife that can cause in any relationship."
