Songfacts®:

  • "All I Know" is what happens when you mix the lush, cinematic drama of Rudimental with the velvety melancholy of Khalid and sprinkle in just enough restraint so no one spills their drink while swaying to it. It's a collaborative single that quietly sidesteps the usual bombast of Rudimental's early drum and bass tracks like "Feel The Love" and "Waiting All Night" and strolls confidently into something softer, more atmospheric.
  • Here, Rudimental leans into what they call a "lovely blend of old school & new school Rudi," which turns out to mean an elegant layering of live instruments - piano, organ, strings - wrapped around a production that breathes rather than booms.

Khalid, for his part, sings about vulnerability and trust as he repeatedly asks a romantic interest, "Can I put my faith in you?"
  • Rudimental and Khalid wrote the song with Eliza Legzdina and the production duo Slim Typical, comprising Conor Bellis and George Conway.

Eliza Legzdina is a London-based singer, songwriter, and performer originally from Latvia. She has an active solo career and has collaborated with a range of artists, including Idris Elba and various UK electronic producers. Legzdina toured with Rudimental in 2020 and began writing music with them in early 2022.

Slim Typical have co-written multiple tracks for Rudimental, including their 2024 single "Bring Me Joy" and their 2024 collaboration "Vex" with Skepsis, MIST, and Popcaan.
