Songfacts®:

  • In Suzie Smiled... The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, drummer Chris Logan told author John Tucker that "Stranger Lands" was his personal favorite: "It had everything. It was the whole band pulling together, everybody putting everything into one track. Everything I love, and John and Andy, all of our musical tastes fell into this one song and it gelled immediately."

It is easy to see why. Running to around 4 minutes, the fifth track on the 1982 Firedance album is credited to band members Andy Skuse and John Hall; publishing and copyright by Andersong/Shiva Music, it was released as the B-side of "Angel Of Mons." >>
