Songfacts®:

  • A "Jenny Ondioline" is a now-obsolete French brand of synthesizer developed by Georges Jenny in 1938. It has been elsewhere marketed as the "Pianoline" and the "Orcheline." It is possibly most famously used in Del Shannon's 1958 hit, "Runaway."
  • On the Transient Noise-Bursts version of this song, another song (unlisted on the track list) begins playing after the initial fade-out. This song is called "Exploding Head Movie" and was recorded separately on Stereolab's 1995 album Refried Ectoplasm. >>>
