Album: Feedback 86 (2000)

Songfacts®:

  • Hackett wrote this in 1986 for his short-lived supergroup GTR, who performed it live during their only tour together (their version can be found on the UK album GTR Live), but disbanded without ever doing a studio version. Instead, Hackett adapted this and other unfinished GTR material as part of his next solo album, but even that project was shelved until 2000 when it was released as Feedback 86.
  • Bonnie Tyler ("Total Eclipse Of The Heart," "Holding Out For A Hero") sings lead on Hackett's solo version of this song. >>

  • Bob from Montreal, QcThe Hackett solo version is way better than the GTR live version. I cannot listen to the live version, but I don't mind the rest of the album.
