Songfacts®:

  • On this track, The Vamps borrowed the chorus from Simon & Garfunkel's 1970 hit tune "Cecilia."
  • The song's music video was directed by Frank Borin, who also helmed 5 Seconds of Summer's "She Looks So Perfect" clip. It was shot in Andalusia, which is a fertile autonomous region of southern Spain.
  • The Vamps teamed up with Shawn Mendes for a new version of the song which was released as a single in the UK on October 12, 2014. The Canadian singer-songwriter Mendes achieved a Top 40 hit in the US with his first original song "Life of the Party." The band met him when both were on tour with Austin Mahone.
  • The Vamps hooked up with some of YouTube's hottest stars for charity version of the song. The track was recorded at Summer in the City at London's Alexandra Palace and features the likes of Tyler Oakley, Sam Pepper and Joe Sugg. Proceeds from the single go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
