• The first UK Top 20 hit for Glasgow four-piece Twin Atlantic, this marked the commercial breakthrough for the band whose previous best chart position was the #99 that "Free" peaked at in 2011. The track benefited from some high profile support from the likes of Radio One's Zane Lowe.
• Bassist Ross McNae told The Daily Record about the writing of the song. "It was a bit of an experiment and we kept putting layers on to the recording," he said. "We were having to rely on people who had the experience for guidance and they thought we should add more. We didn't want to keep people waiting and that clouded our judgement a little. But in hindsight, having the patience was a good thing."
• This was the first single released from Great Divide. Sam McTrusty explained the album title to The Sun: "It's about not wanting to let go of childhood, even when you have fully accepted adulthood," he said. "A lot of bands say that they're the same as the day they formed, but that is not the case with us. Every song is about the transition from childhood to adulthood, whether it's relationships, frustrations or just wanting to have a good time."
