Songfacts®:

  • This was released as the fourth single from Wiley's The Ascent album following the Grime artist's top ten hits "Heatwave," "Can You Hear Me (Ayayaya)" and "Reload." The song was produced by Parallel and Angel with the latter also featuring on the track along British hip-hop singer Tinchy Stryder.
  • Wiley threatened to leave his record label over the handling of this song as his fourth single release, saying: "If my first two singles were dance and third was drum and bass, why am I doing a dance single fourth? My musical mind is better than that."
  • The autobiographical music video tells the story of how Wiley's girlfriend helped the rapper begin his career by secretly submitting one of his mixtapes to a pirate radio station.
