Songfacts®:

  • This posse track features Kanye West, Migos' Quavo, Big Sean and 2 Chainz. It finds the superstar rappers comparing themselves to the late president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, who passed away a fortnight before the release of the cut. There are also multiple references to the Colombian billionaire drug trafficker Pablo Escobar, as the quintet try to out-brag each other about their riches, women, drugs and fame.
  • Gotti, Quavo and 2 Chainz each spit a verse, while West and Big Sean deliver ad-libs throughout the song The same quintet all featured on Yeezy's's "Champions" (also featuring Desiigner and Travis Scott). It is likely that both tracks were laid down during the same recording session.
  • Fidel Castro was known for the Cuban Missile Crisis and advancing Socialism in Cuba. Here are some fun facts about the later communist dictator from The Encyclopedia of Trivia:

Fidel Castro was born at his father's farm on Friday August 13, 1926.

Castro was voted Cuba's best schoolboy athlete in 1944. He was a left-handed pitcher and had a trial for Washington Senators baseball team but was turned down.

On February 16, 1959 Fidel Castro, wearing army fatigues, was sworn in as prime minister of Cuba after dictator Fulgencio Batista fled the island. He accepted the position on the condition that the Prime Minister's powers be increased.

Castro holds the record for the longest speech ever delivered at the United Nations: 4 hours and 29 minutes, on September 29, 1960.

In a nationally broadcast speech on December 2, 1961, Fidel Castro declared that he has been a Marxist–Leninist for years and that Cuba was going to adopt Communism.

Fidel Castro died in Santiago de Cuba aged 90 at 22:29 [EST] on November 26, 2016.
