  • Baby, I can't figure it out
    Your kisses taste like honey
Sweet lies don't gimme no rise
Oh, oh, what you're tryna do?

    Livin' on your cheatin'
And the pain grows inside me
It's enough to leave me crying in the rain
    Love you forever but you're
    Driving me insane
    And I'm hanging on
Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh, I'll win, I'll never give in

Our love has got the power
Too many lovers in one lifetime
    Ain't good for you
You treat me like a vision in the night
Someone there to stand behind you
When your world ain't working right

    I ain't no vision, I'm the man
Who loves you inside and out
    Backwards and forwards with
    My heart hanging out
    I love no other way

What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Wrap myself up and take me home again
    Too many heartaches in one
    Lifetime ain't good for me
I figure it's the love that keeps you warm

    Let this moment be forever
We won't ever feel the storm
    I ain't no vision, I'm the man
Who loves you inside and out
    Backwards and forwards with
    My heart hanging out

    I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?
Don't try to tell me it's all over
    I can't hear a word, I can't hear a line
No man could love you more
And that's what I'm crying for
You can't change the way I feel inside

You are the reason for my laughter and my sorrow
Blow out the candle, I will burn again tomorrow
No man on earth can stand
    Between my love and I
And no matter how you hurt me
I will love you 'til I die

    I ain't no vision, I'm the man
Who loves you inside and out
    Backwards and forwards with
    My heart hanging out
    I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?

    Loves you inside and out
    Backwards and forwards with
    My heart hanging out
    I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire?

    Loves you inside and out
    Backwards and forwards with
    My heart hanging out
    I love no other way
What am I gonna do if we lose that fire? Writer/s: Barry Gibb, Maurice Ernest Gibb, Robin Hugh Gibb

  • Michael From Nc from NcThey did perform it live. Saw the show as a kid.
  • Isabella from ChicagoI believe this is one of the only hits The Bee Gees never performed live! One of their most underrated songs for sure
  • Markantney from Biloxi, MsJul2014,
Ron, the song got props from the HipHop/Rap Community, it's been sampled a few times, once by JZ.

And I agree (on being underrated), my son even likes it. He asked a followup about the group; I had to tell him the Nuclear Winter after the Disco (Nuke) Bomb went off and almost destroyed their careers but they gave it a good fight.
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyOn April 15th 1979, "Love You Inside Out" by the Bee Gees entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #37; and on June 3rd it peaked at #1 (for 1 week) and spent 19 weeks on the Top 100...
It was preceded and then succeeded at #1 by the same record, "Hot Stuff", by Donna Summer...
As already stated, it was the trio's sixth consecutive #1 record; "He's A Liar" ended the streak, it peaked at #30 on the Top 100...
    R.I.P. Maurice (1949 - 2003), Robin (1949 - 2012), Ms. Summer (1948 - 2012) and Barry Gibb will celebrate his 68th birthday this coming September 1st.
  • George from Belleville, NjThis is one of the most intense love songs ever recorded.Certainly one of the BeeGees best songs. This song grooves, has a good tempo, great melody, excellent harmony.A very catchy hit tune. Everytime I hear it,it moves me.
  • Ron from Auburndale, FlPossible THE most underrated Bee Gees song ever! It was their last number one, for crying out loud, and it NEVER gets played. Haven't heard it on the radio since I was a kid. The section of the song from about 2:21 to about 3:02 is pure gold...
  • David from Youngstown, OhThe falsetto is at its strongest on this song, particularly "Don't try to tell me it's all over
    I can't hear a word I can't hear a line
No man could love you more
And that's what I'm cryin' for
You can't change the way I feel inside."
  • Showing from San Francisco, CaReally dig the Feist version of this song too.
  • Kevin from Reading , PaNot really that memorable of a hit for them, but at the time, they just kept churnin' out the Number One's.
