But we are "just the same as all the rest, not the worst, not the best" And as we age we ride into the setting sun, tears streaming, because we do realize we are meaningless in the history of life. We will die and be remembered no more. Because we are just the mediocre everyday person.

  I searched the lyrics 2 this song, and i found this @ the end. So the song could be about WW2 & the terrors of it. Just a thought.
• Tim from Syracuse, NyFrankly, I think this song makes me think of the sorry state of cinema during the 80's[Total Recall anyone?]... but it's still got that wierd feel to it, similar to the strangeness of 'One Of These Days'
