  • For your eyes only, can see me through the night
For your eyes only, I never need to hide
You can see so much in me, so much in me that's new
I never felt until I looked at you

For your eyes only, only for you
You'll see what no one else can see, and now I'm breaking free
For your eyes only, only for you
The love I know you need in me, the fantasy you've freed in me
Only for you, only for you

For your eyes only, the nights are never cold
You really know me, that's all I need to know
Maybe I'm an open book because I know you're mine
But you won't need to read between the lines

For your eyes only, only for you
You see what no one else can see, and now I'm breaking free
For your eyes only, only for you
The passions that collide in me, the wild abandoned side of me
Only for you, for your eyes only Writer/s: Bill Conti, Michael Leeson

  • John Collingwood from Beverley, East Riding Of YorkshireGreat Bond theme song (well - Top 5 maybe, IMO) One thing that GRATES on me though - her phrasing of the word YOU in the chorus (Yur ?) What's that all about ?! ..... She gets it right in an other part of the song with a really strong 'YOO' ... was she told to sing it like that ?
  • Esskayess from EarthNot one my favorite Bond songs by any means, but when compared to the aforementioned "Die Another Die," it's a masterpiece.
  • Seventhmist from 7th HeavenWhen the movie came out, many (myself included) thought Easton was performing the song naked. She wasn't, but with all the naked women Maurice Binder typically included in his Bond movie titles, it was a reasonable assumption.
  • Siahara Shyne Carter from United StatesI love the chorus in high pitch

She have beautiful classic voice I think she was just in her middle age when she sing this
Also I saw The music video is not so cool

    but!

her voice is all that matters and I also love the song
  • Heavy D from Ventura CaGreat song, my parents used to have movies on laser discs and For Your Eyes Only was one of them.

This brings back good memories of when I was a kid, and my parents were still together. A long time ago but I still remember it.

To compound matters, me and my ex girlfriend used to like this song, at least she said she did. We had a six or seven year relationship, on and off again ... but when things were good, they were really good. I would always think of her when I heard this song and overhear her talking to me “for your eyes only darling“

Things are over with now and I have to move on, but I still think of her when I hear this one. And reminds me of the old days.

I was too set in my ways to change, and never wanted to get married. She wanted a future, she wanted the whole 9 yards. I could never do that.

    Great song all around
