Songfacts®:

  • This is a track from RetroHash, Asher Roth's second album. Many of the songs echo the rapper's personal life and situations he or his friends have been in. "I want people to be able to feel me. That's how you stick around for a little bit and become a genuine perspective, become someone somebody can relate to," he told Radio.com.

"'Be Right' is reflective and talking about the power of fear. I've dealt with a lot of lows because my success came early. Through the low points I've learned so much about who I am. I would never take that back. I've become the person I am because of the low points."
