Songfacts®:

  • This uplifting Diane Warren-penned ballad finds Ciara singing to her baby son, Future Zahid Wilburn. The songstress vows to protect and provide for her little boy over the simple acoustic production. "This song is very special to me as it's dedicated to my son," said Ciara. "I cried in the process of recording [it]."
  • Little Future makes a short appearance at the beginning of the track when he hear the baby boy and his mom break out in laughter after she's sung a lullaby to him.
  • Ciara told People that she "tailor-made the lullaby part" of the song for her son, adding that the tune has been her "go-to song to calm him."

"If he's ever crying or frustrated, I sing to him," she said. "He stops everything and smiles."
  • The monochromatic music video tells the story of Ciara's journey into motherhood, beginning with the singer announcing her pregnancy to her parents, Jackie and Carlton Harris. From there, we get heartwarming glimpses of baby Future Jr. and mom hanging out at home and in the studio, as well as the pair swimming together.
