  • Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme wrote this blues rocker about a guy on the brink of losing the girl he loves with producer Mark "Money Mark" Nishita, who is known for his collaborations with the Beastie Boys.
  • The song about lost love took on a poignant meaning after the band escaped a terrorist attack on November 13, 2015 that killed 89 of their fans, including their merchandise manager Nick Alexander, at a sold-out concert at Le Bataclan in Paris, France. Hundreds more were injured and dozens more killed by the attackers wielding automatic rifles and suicide vests in several other locations throughout the city. Hughes and Homme started a Play It Forward charity campaign to encourage fellow musicians of all genres to cover "I Love You All The Time," pledging all of the publishing proceeds to aid the victims of the Paris attacks.

    The alt rock Dean Ween Group was the first to take up the task. Frontman Dean Ween explained: "When Josh asked me to cover this tune, I dropped what I was doing on the most important (to me anyway) gig night of my life. I was debuting the tunes from my forthcoming Dean Ween Group album. I came to the studio with our drummer Ray Kubian (who is a great singer as well) and I had a concept. One sample of handclaps and 8 tracks of grunting in the rhythm of the song and scat singing. I laid down a bass track for an anchor or a guide, sped the song up to 150 beats per minute when the original was about 115. One acoustic guitar, and Ray taking the lead vocal."
