  • Jason Aldean was only 21 years old when he left his Georgian hometown of Macon for Nashville, but he hasn't forgotten his roots. With lyrics about Highway 41, which runs right through Macon, he knew straight away he had to cut this David Lee Murphy and Ben Hayslip penned tune. "I was so drawn to that song because it does talk about Georgia," he told Radio.com. "It took me back to moving to Nashville in 1998. I was born and raised in Georgia and never lived anywhere else, [and then I] moved somewhere where I didn't know anybody."
