Songfacts®:

  • The theme of the permanently connected nature of the modern world pops up a few times on Peace's Happy People album. Vocalist Harry Koisser told NME regarding this song: "I see it as a pair with 'O You'; they were written at the same time. I feel like the generation I'm a part of is the first to say 'no' to the way humans interact with nature, and they're determined to do something about it."
  • The song's music video co-stars footballer Peter Crouch. The former England centre-forward plays a disgusted onlooker, who disses Koisser. Peace, themselves, portray an alter-ego group called The Toadz.

Crouch's involvement in the clip was at short notice. "[I was] the Supersub, I'm getting used to that," he told NME. "Someone pulled out and they asked me like sort of last minute really. I was doing nothing that day so it literally ended up being like that."

Crouch added: "It was a bit of fun to be fair, just decided to go for it. I like the band you know, I like the lads so decided just go for it. It was some good fun."
