Songfacts®:

  • A feel-good club anthem about coming together no matter what our differences, this was recorded for NBC's songwriting competition series Songland. The Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am was the guest recording artist on the June 4, 2019 episode, and "Be Nice" was the week's winning tune.
  • The song was written by will.i.am, Songland contestant Adam Friedman, and one of the show's panel of hitmaking producers-mentors, Ester Dean.
  • "Be Nice" features a guest verse by Snoop Dogg. It marked the first collaboration between The Black Eyed Peas and the rapper.
