Songfacts®:

  • The song includes the lyrics, "I'm closer to my coffin now," referring to one's own mortality. Umphrey's McGee's singer and guitarist, Brendan Bayliss, told us the meaning of the tune: "We are all getting older, and sometimes we lose friends along the way."

He added, "This song deals with that and your own limitations. As you age, you can't do things and go out and party like you would if you were a 22-year-old."
  • This was one of the tracks included on Umphrey's McGee's 2015 compilation album, The London Session, which was recorded in just 12 hours in the renowned Abbey Road Studios.
