  • "Wanna Quit All The Time" is a playful but honest look at the challenges of navigating success while battling self-doubt. Faye Webster sings about how attention related to her rising fame can be overwhelming. It triggers overthinking and negativity, making her question even simple things like the color of her house.

Despite the struggles, there's a flicker of resilience. The repeated line "I think I'll figure it out" acts as a mantra, a way to cope and push forward.

"Sometimes music is the only thing I instinctively know how to do. I love it, but there are a lot of things that come with that I find hard to deal with personally," Webster told Uncut magazine. "That kind of attention can be a lot from the mentally."
  • The song is a track from Webster's fifth album, Underdressed At The Symphony. The title reflects the singer's tendency to attend Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performances impulsively, often at the last minute, without adequate time to dress up for them.
  • After recording her previous albums in Atlanta and nearby Athens, Georgia, Webster and her backing band decamped to Sonic Ranch studios in Texas, where Bon Iver and Fiona Apple have recorded. There they laid down Underdressed At The Symphony with her longtime co-producer and engineer Drew Vandenberg.

"We've made all my records here in Georgia, and we wanted to switch things up," she explained to Uncut. "I've been recording with the same people, and I didn't want to change anything about that. The location was the only thing I was willing to budge on. It was refreshing. We all lived in the same house, and it was nice to wake up and be somewhere different. We were very isolated on a ranch, so we didn't have any distractions."
